South Australian lab · agent-assisted ordering

Print with Atkins Photo Lab.

If you’re drawn to Adelaide-made fine-art printing, let me explain this route first: members of the public order through an approved Atkins Agent, rather than an ordinary online checkout.

A few things I’d check first

This is an assisted route, not an instant retail checkout. Atkins directs members of the public to an approved agent or their photographer. Ask the agent whether they can arrange a private print from your licensed gallery download before sending the file.

Let’s work through your order

  1. Find an approved agent

Let’s begin with the Atkins Agents directory. Contact a suitable agent and explain that you have purchased a digital-art licence for your own display.

  2. Agree the service

Ask whether the agent can handle your file, which papers suit it and what the complete order will cost. Confirm who takes payment and handles any print issue. I’d much rather you ask a small question now than face a very diplomatic conversation later.

  3. Set the print dimensions

Specify the image width, height, paper and border. Give written instructions to retain the whole composition and visible signature.

  4. Prepare the file together

Follow the agreed submission method and colour-profile requirements. Ask me for a printer-specific copy if the agent needs one.

  5. Approve the specification

For a large print, ask about a proof. Confirm cropping, colour adjustments, timing and collection or delivery before authorising production.

  6. Keep the order record

Retain the written quote, specification and receipt. Follow the agent’s process for payment and collection; a professional membership is not part of your artwork purchase.

You may use a professional printer or a private one-off print-on-demand order for display allowed by your digital licence. Keep the file private. Decline promotional sharing of the artwork; if a provider requests rights beyond producing your print, check with Robin before uploading. Do not publish it to a shop, resell prints or turn it into merchandise.
