Koala Resting Under a Starry Canopy

A koala settles into the broad fork of a tree beneath deep blue starlight, surrounded by warm orange-brown leaves and branches. Its grey-black fur and relaxed upward gaze give the scene a quiet centre while the night canopy adds colour and depth around it. The horizontal composition feels naturally suited to a living room, bedroom, study or hallway where the broad branches can stretch across the wall. From a distance the koala is easy to read; up close, the fur, bark, leaf colour and tiny stars make the scene more layered and tactile.

I liked the idea of the animal simply being part of the tree rather than performing for the viewer. The heavy branches create a sense of shelter, warm leaves break into the cool blue sky, and the koala sits between those two colour worlds. I kept the setting broad and imaginative, focusing on visible posture, texture and atmosphere rather than adding a specific place or behaviour story.
