Fiery Forest Glow

Red, orange and gold light seems to pour through a dark stand of trees, filling the sky with thousands of small glowing marks. The lower forest stays almost black, which makes the central burst of colour feel even hotter and more luminous without needing a literal fire narrative. This is a dramatic vertical piece for a living room, hallway, study or dining space where you want strong warmth and contrast. The glowing centre carries the image from a distance, while the dense circular texture and darker edges give it more complexity when viewed up close.

I kept the tree line restrained so the movement above it could become the main event. The repeated marks build a sense of heat, weather and light without assigning them a fixed story. The Aboriginal-inspired dot-style detail belongs to my contemporary personal practice here, used for rhythm, texture and atmosphere as a compositional choice.
