Red Horizon Path

A dark winding path cuts through glowing red hills towards a bright horizon, while thousands of tiny marks spread into a deep black sky. The square composition feels both grounded and expansive, with the path pulling the eye steadily towards the light. Rich red and orange make this a confident feature for a living room, study, music room or hallway where strong colour can carry the wall. From a distance the path and horizon read immediately; closer up, the layered dots turn the surface into a much more intricate experience.

I built this piece around the simple tension between darkness and a point of light ahead. The repeated marks create rhythm across the land and sky, while the black path keeps the composition moving forward. The Aboriginal-inspired dot-style detail is part of my contemporary personal practice here, used as a compositional choice for colour, movement and depth.
