Celestial Sun Circles

Two glowing circles sit within a field of concentric blue, orange, gold and charcoal marks, one high in the composition and one low on the horizon. The repeated rings create a strong sense of focus, while the surrounding dots make the whole vertical image seem to pulse outward. This piece can bring a calm but striking focal point to a living room, hallway, meditation corner or study. The larger circular forms read strongly from across the room; closer in, the smaller rings and dots reveal the patient rhythm of the surface.

I built the composition around circles as a way of holding light and movement in the same place. The dot-style pattern is part of my contemporary Aboriginal-inspired personal practice, used here to create visual rhythm and depth rather than to assign a fixed cultural narrative.

AI-assisted creative tools supported the development of this artwork. I personally selected, refined, verified and prepared the finished digital artwork, upscaled its production master to 14,400 pixels along its long edge and added my digital signature.
