Keep likes and favourites separately

A like can be a nod of appreciation; a favourite can be the one you keep coming back to.

Let’s take it step by step

  1. Select Like or Favourite beside an artwork. Select the same button again to remove that choice.
  2. Open My favourites and switch between Favourites and Likes to see the two separate lists.
  3. For choices across devices, sign in to your confirmed gallery account before saving them.
  4. If you already saved choices while signed out, open My account and select Add this browser’s saved artworks to add this browser’s likes and favourites to your account.
  5. To empty a list, open that list and select Clear this list. Take a quick look first; there is no undo button.

What to expect

Your signed-in choices stay with your account. Signed-out choices stay in the current browser when storage is available.

A few things to know

  • The two lists are separate; liking a piece does not automatically favourite it.
  • Each saved list has a limit of 100 artworks.
  • If a save error appears, retry before leaving. Private browsing or cleared site data can remove unsynchronised choices.
