Let’s take it step by step
- Open an artwork with a Video thumbnail, then select that thumbnail to open the video in the carousel.
- The carousel attempts to play the video with sound muted. Use the video controls to turn sound on if the video includes audio.
- If your browser does not allow autoplay, select the play control yourself.
- Use Next, Previous or Close to leave the video. You can also play an embedded video on the artwork page; open Video transcript if one is supplied.
What to expect
The video plays using normal browser controls. Leaving the main carousel video stops its playback.
A few things to know
- Not every artwork has a video, audio or transcript.
- Autoplay depends on your browser. A member-gallery video may require you to press play.
