Sea Turtle in Bright Dot-Style Currents

Bright orange, cobalt, turquoise and white dots wrap around a sea turtle as it moves through curling blue currents. The close crop and bright visible eye make the turtle immediately recognisable, while the flowing bands of colour keep the image lively without losing the calm centre of the animal itself. I built this artwork around the contrast between steady movement and restless water. The turtle holds a clear, rounded shape while the currents twist around it in brighter arcs, so the eye keeps circling back to the face and shell. The dot-style detail is part of my contemporary Aboriginal-inspired visual language here, used for rhythm, colour and motion as a personal compositional choice.
