Sunset Creek Dreamscape

A dark central tree stands above a winding orange creek as purple, pink and blue ground rolls away towards a bright sunset. The colour is deliberately heightened, turning the landscape into a dreamlike Australian scene where the glowing water leads the eye from the foreground into the distance. The strong tree silhouette gives this vertical artwork an immediate focal point, while the layered colour keeps it playful enough for a living room, bedroom, hallway or creative workspace. At a distance the composition reads simply as tree, creek and sunset; up close, the many small dots and rounded colour patches create a much richer surface.

I wanted the creek to act like a bright path through the picture, connecting the deeper blue and purple foreground with the orange light at the horizon. The repeated marks are there to build rhythm and texture rather than to carry a fixed meaning. The Aboriginal-inspired dot-style treatment is part of my own contemporary digital practice and is used here as a personal visual choice.

AI-assisted creative tools supported the development of this artwork. I personally selected, refined, verified and prepared the finished digital artwork, upscaled its production master to 14,400 pixels along its long edge and added my digital signature.
