Radiance Beyond the Ridge

A bright circle expands behind the central peaks, its orange and cream dots turning the sun into a bold patterned form. The mountains below are sharply folded, with warm red faces and deep teal shadows. Trees and pale grasses frame the near ground without interrupting the view. Their finer textures give scale to the strong shapes above: a rocky foreground, a wide plain, then the ridge and its radiating light. The work combines a familiar landscape structure with an unmistakably imagined sky, making the central glow its clear point of attention. This purchase is a digital download. The ridge hides part of the light but cannot contain its widening pattern. That arrangement can suggest something continuing beyond the visible edge, without requiring a particular story about what it is. The image leaves the thought open, held in the simple contrast between a firm silhouette and expanding circles.
