About this artwork
The valley opens beyond a close gathering of cream, red and golden flowers. Their large, petal-rich faces and intricate circular centres give the foreground an almost celebratory abundance, while a broad sweep of smaller blooms carries the eye towards the orange ranges. Trees at either side frame the open middle distance. Above them, peach and cream clouds curl across a muted blue sky, echoing the movement below. Teal details tucked among the flowers sharpen the warmth rather than competing with it. This is a landscape for someone drawn to both generous colour and the pleasure of looking closely.
