Kangaroo Portrait in Radiant Orange Light

A kangaroo lifts its head beneath a radiant orange-gold burst of light, with blue-black shadows and round ochre forms gathering around the lower portrait. The upward pose gives the image an unusual sense of movement, making the burst of light feel almost as important as the animal.
