Sea Turtle in Teal Ocean Currents

A sea turtle sweeps diagonally through teal and deep-blue currents, its shell edged with warm copper, cream and muted pink detail. Long ribbon-like bands of water curve behind it, giving the portrait format a strong sense of forward motion without turning the scene into a literal underwater illustration. The cooler palette works naturally in a living room, bedroom, study or coastal interior where you want movement without a harsh colour clash. The turtle's shape carries the image from a distance, while the shell pattern, fine dots and layered currents make close viewing much richer.

For this version I let the water become almost as important as the animal. The turtle crosses the frame on an angle while the currents curl back in the opposite direction, creating a push and pull that keeps the composition alive. The dot-style and patterned details are my own contemporary Aboriginal-inspired visual treatment, used for colour and rhythm as personal compositional choices.
