About this artwork
Above a warm, open valley, the sky gathers into rings of cream, ochre, red and teal. Some are small and scattered; others expand into richly layered circles, giving the light a rhythm that belongs to imagination rather than weather. A twisting pale tree anchors the left slope. Below it, flower-like clusters and low plants border a winding, pale valley floor. The grounded landscape and patterned sky remain in conversation: one offers distance and recognisable forms, the other brings movement and surprise. The warm palette makes the teal accents feel especially clear. Digital download in JPEG format: 14,400 × 7,200 pixels, 2:1 landscape, with embedded 300 dpi metadata. The circles might be read as the landscape trying out another language. Colours found among the slopes and flowers rise overhead, no longer attached to soil or leaf.
